Install pgadmin3 for PostgreSQL 9.3¶

Requirements¶

To install pgadmin3 you will need the following:

• a installed and supported operating system (e.g. CentOS 6.x)
• root-access
• a fast internet connection
• installed PostgreSQL-repo

Preliminary Note¶

pgadmin3 is ether in EPEL-repo or more recent in the PostgreSQL-repo

Install¶

yum install pgadmin3_93

Usage¶

pgadmin3

Update/Delete¶

as of version 1.16.0 / 1.16.1 PgAdmin fails to deinstall or upgrade automatically. Therefore we maybe need to delete the installation without the use of the deinstall-scripts

rpm -e pgadmin3_92 --noscripts
