Install virtualbox repository¶

Add virtualbox repository¶

cd /etc/yum.repos.d
wget http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/rhel/virtualbox.repo

you can check the content of the repository-file by

cat virtualbox.repo

the content should look like:

[virtualbox]
name=Oracle Linux / RHEL / CentOS-$releasever / $basearch - VirtualBox
baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/el/$releasever/$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://www.virtualbox.org/download/oracle_vbox.asc

Test¶

the listing of available repositories should now include virtualbox

yum repolist
