Install Procedure for nginx¶

Requirements¶

• a installed and supported operating system (e.g. CentOS 9.x)
• root-access
• a fast internet connection

Install¶

there are multiple streams available.

dnf module list | grep nginx

as of 2025-07-28:
1.22, 1.24, 1.26

dnf module enable nginx:1.26
dnf install nginx

Service¶

systemctl start nginx
systemctl enable nginx

Firewall¶

firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-service=http
firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-service=https
firewall-cmd --reload
