Gnome calender¶

check your current settings with

localectl set-locale LC_TIME=en_GB

set LC_TIME to english, since en_GB locale starts with monday as the first day of the week

localectl set-locale LC_TIME=en_GB

log out and in for the change to take effect. The setting is stored in /etc/locale.conf
