Keyboard Settings¶

Requirements¶

To setup energy-settings you will need the following:

• a installed and supported operating system (e.g. Windows 7)
• administrator rights

Preliminary Note¶

It is necessary that the regional settings are not to be changed if they would cause a change in the meaning of "." and "," (e.g. do not change from GERMAN to ENGLISH or vice versa. If you just need to change the input-device (keyboard) then let the regional setting as they are and change the keyboard only.

Setup¶

• open start-menu and select Control Panel
• goto Region and Language
• goto Keyboards and Language
• goto change Keyboards
• select Keyboards
• goto add
• select the desired keyboard from the list
• move up the desired keyboard and/or remove all other keyboards.
  

4 Check functionality¶

reboot the machine and check if the keyboard is working as expected.
